Rome – Several antisemitic or conspiratorial comments/posts were found in response to Elly Schlein’s victory for the presidency of the Democratic Party. Some users pick up on the accusatory myth of “International Jewry,” “Ashkenazi Jews,” and Soros, all the while tying everything back to his Jewish paternal origins to fuel the idea that it’s all part of a Jewish conspiracy.
One user claims that Jews, after 2,000 years, are taking their revenge on the Italians who “kicked them out” of Israel, while another claims they are beginning “to understand Hitler.”
